Batikh-Paris: A brand born from conviction
A quest for meaning that became an entrepreneurial adventure
For years, entrepreneurship wasn't an obvious choice for me. With a master's degree in marketing and communication, I built my career as a product manager, development project manager, and then e-commerce manager. A stable and enriching path, but over time, a question began to haunt me: What if I put my skills to work on a meaningful project, one that aligned with my core values?
Born into a French family with no religious ties, I embraced Islam more than 15 years ago. It was a well-considered decision, guided by my research and personal journey. As I grew spiritually, the desire to pursue a different path in business became clear: to create a legitimate, ethical activity aligned with my faith.
Why Batikh-Paris? A need, an observation, a solution
In 2024, the idea germinated by observing a paradox: our children are growing up in an ultra-connected world where technology, media and modern toys shape their awakening… but where are the alternatives that conform to our Islamic values?
I quickly realized that the selection of Islamic toys for toddlers (under 3 years old) is practically nonexistent. Yet, it is from birth that their cognitive, emotional, and spiritual development begins. Why not offer them fun and nurturing tools that respect our identity?
This is how Batikh-Paris was born, and launched its first collection: "Mecca". Batikh-Paris then became the first brand in the world to offer an Islamic activity arch and spiral. An ambitious project, blending education, spirituality, and innovation to offer toys adapted to our children, designed with care and kindness.
A tribute to the oppressed, a hope for the future
But Batikh-Paris is not just a toy brand. It's also a promise, a cause, a message. The year 2024 was marked by tragic events, including a shocking genocide. Unbearable images, immense pain, blatant injustice. Faced with this suffering, I felt the need to channel my commitment into this project. It was only natural that I chose the name of my company, "Batikh" or بطيخ, and my logo 🍉, which has become a symbol of resistance and hope for Palestine.
It's not just a simple word. It's a thought, a prayer, a will to act, even on my small scale.
Building the future, together
Today, I am pursuing this adventure as a dual activity, with a clear objective: to make Batikh-Paris a reference in Islamic toys and, in the long term, my main activity.
I conceived this project with my heart, hoping it would meet the needs of Muslim parents seeking enriching and ethical educational alternatives. But none of this would be possible without you.
So, to you who are reading these lines, who support Batikh-Paris in any way: Thank you. Thank you for believing in this project, thank you for contributing to its development, and thank you for being ambassadors for a brighter future for our children.
